    • New clients please fill out Intake Form, Release, and Informed Consent.
    • No Show Policy
    • Initial session may be up to 60 minutes (no additional fee).
    • Subsequent sessions are 45 minutes
    • Payment required at or before time of session.
    • Allow a previous provider to share information about your treatment with the Release form.


  • New Day Resource offers pastoral counseling and emotional wellness coaching that is reflective, educational, and supportive in nature. While this work can be meaningful and helpful for many people, it is not appropriate for every situation.


    This work may not be a good fit if you are currently experiencing any of the following:


    Active Crisis or Immediate Safety Concerns

    • Ongoing thoughts of harming yourself or others

    • Recent suicide attempts or active self-harm

    • Situations where you are in immediate danger or unsafe

    In these circumstances, immediate support from emergency services or licensed mental health professionals is essential.





    Conditions Requiring Clinical or Medical Treatment

    • Severe or unmanaged mental health symptoms

    • Active psychosis, mania, or significant dissociation

    • Mental health conditions that require diagnosis, medication management, or structured treatment

    New Day Resource does not diagnose or treat mental health disorders and does not provide clinical or medical care.





    Substance Use Requiring Specialized Treatment

    • Active substance use that significantly impairs daily functioning

    • Situations where detoxification, inpatient, or intensive outpatient treatment is indicated

    Licensed addiction treatment services are better equipped to provide appropriate care in these cases.





    Crisis-Focused or Risk-Management Services

    • Ongoing suicide risk monitoring or safety planning

    • Abuse investigations or forensic evaluation

    • Court-ordered counseling or treatment

    New Day Resource does not provide crisis intervention, risk assessment, or forensic services.





    Expectations of Therapy or Clinical Outcomes

    This work may not be a fit if you are seeking:

    • Formal mental health diagnosis

    • Treatment of psychiatric conditions

    • Insurance-based therapy services

    • Clinical documentation for legal or employment purposes

    If any of the above applies to you, it does not mean that support is unavailable or that you have failed in any way. It simply means that another form of care is more appropriate at this time.

    When possible, New Day Resource is glad to help you think through next steps and identify licensed or emergency resources that can better support your needs.

Coaching and Pastoral Care*

Emotional wellness coaching and consulting are the ways New Day resources YOU.  In addition to our coaching and consulting, we offer faith-affirming, pastoral counseling, which is a special emphasis at New Day, and many clients appreciate the spiritually supportive environment we can provide.  We work through each individual's story to unlock freedom, healing, and restoration. We find that the words of Jesus recorded in John 8:32:  "And you will know the truth and the truth will set you free," capture the essence of Jesus' healing presence in a life.  


We also serve clients who do not consider themselves Christian or even spiritual.  We create a supportive, non-judgmental environment for all our clients, regardless of their religious or spiritual orientation.  We do not include spiritual perspectives in sessions without our clients' invitations, and we respect each client's preferences regarding the level and type of spiritual themes they want included in their counseling.
